All New Advance Container The Vitamix PBS Portion Blending System Advance now comes standard with the new Advance Container, the latest innovation for their most advanced commercial blenders. Vitamix has (now stay with me here) advanced upon the square design of the discontinued XP/MP container and replaced it with a more efficient triangular shape that decreases blending times, thus saving wear and tear on your blender. Additionally, Vitamix has redesigned the container with a new No-Drip spout and splash-guard locking lid, and a new twin bearing Advance Blade that lasts 50% longer than older models. This 64 ounce container comes with the Advance blade and lid and has markings to 48 ounces.
This update is now standard on the new PBS Advance item numbers 1691 and 1692. Older PBS Advance units sold elsewhere ship with the discontinued XP container. The overhead bin and its shaver motor will automatically feed the exact amount of ice required for each drink into the blending container and then immediately blend drinks to perfection. It even alerts you using the LCD screen if the ice level gets low. Create up to 4 drinks (60 ounces) at once and program the Portion Blending System Advance to remember your most important recipes.

The 2-piece heavy rubber lid locks into place and has a cap on top which allows you to add ingredients while the PBS Advance is running.
