I use this blender to mix up large batches of organic peanut butter. The oil separated and lays on top and the rest is solid. The only way to get a smooth consistency is to use this blender. Great if you want to use it every day, we mix our daily soups twice a day and it make a really good job, nice product I love this blender. This blender is too powerful. I got this one because it was the same price as the smaller one i was looking at. But this thing is great. This heavy duty immersion blender is great for making big batches of sauces, dressings, soup, mixes and so much more. The powerful motor and long cord make it easy to use. This stick blender may be on the larger size, but it is still easy to use for small women, My prep cook and I are both very tiny ladies and we find it easy to maneuver in large pots of soups and salad dressings mixed in Cambro containers. The cord is very long and is very convenient for our kitchen. Worth the price and quite powerful. We use it daily to make 5 to 6 gallons of soup of the day a little bit noisy but make good job, and give to your soup nice consistence Needed a good reliable unit, the waring works very well for light duty use and is reasonable priced, good choice for the price and power.

Although the buttons are a little awkward the 10" shaft works well with small to medium stock pots. This worked well the first three months of use but always, always died on us.
