Terribly gritty and chalky, and there was no chai taste at all.
I will have to add my own chai spices for taste and gulp it down to get past the grit. Really looking to find a protein powder that isn't whey and has a great flavor. This is NOT it. 3 stars for great ingredients and protein content. The chalky flavor though is really bad and I can't recommend it. I will keep looking. I have been using this for about 2 months now--one silk shake with blueberries and bananas a day. It is great stuff! Fills you up, lasts longer than my usual cereal breakfasts used to and slimming! I'm on my fourth order of the Vanilla Spice Chai. It tastes better than any other protein powder--especially mixed in unsweetened almond milk with a banana and some blueberries. This is great stuff! Tastes good, provides energy, is wonderful with bananas and blueberries and is low sugar. This is a very great powder- a little strong (rice flavor) and grainy- both of which I am used to when buying brown rice powders. It is also not sweet, so I prefer it in Vanilla Almond Milk- YUM!!!
A little pricey, and not a big container, but a little goes a long way (I use 2 rounded tps, not 1 scoop.) I find this drink really easy to mix. I just add water and stir it with a spoon. It takes a little time to get the lumps out, but it ends up quite smooth. I will probably buy it again and would recommend it to others. This is a unique product with an interesting taste. At first, I didn't really like it, but that's because of the fact that I'm used to processed sugars. After a while though, I started to love it. I felt happier, and I was excited that I could get all the vitamins and minerals I needed with this product. I love chai and this protein powder is so healthy. I add it to fruit and coconut milk to make vegan smoothies. One of the better protein powders I'm very happy with this product. While I'm more of a chocolate person, I really like Chai as well, and I'm glad I tried it. It's pretty good when mixed with some almond or coconut milk, but make sure to do it in a blender to remove any grittiness.
I've found it to be a filling, nutritious, and tasty meal replacement. It is great--especially with bananas! I had been doing research for a couple of days to find a good vegetarian protein and this one seems to be the best! I was reluctant to try it, but I sincerely think it is decent! Here's a little foundation on me and what helps: I have a Vita Mix, which I think is crucial, or at any rate a blender, however a Vita Mix will transform any graininess into something smooth (any individual who has one likely recognizes what it will do to cashews).kitchenaid artisan blender roze If you're someone who's used to artificial sweetness, you may not prefer this. ninja blender bl682In any case on the off chance that you are somebody who has explored different creations or somebody who's fiddled with a crude veggie lover eating regimen and green smoothies, I truly think you will discover this satisfying. farberware rocket blender parts
I've tried making smoothies with this powder and banana and water, and it turned out pretty great with a banana/oat-like flavor.Citrus Peels & Cancer: Zest for Life?
