It's a cheap blender. You pay more because than other intro blenders because of the name on it. Our device gave out after 3 months with light use and no longer works. Strong and quiet motor. Only tricky part is the cleaning since the pitcher and blade assembly is fixed together. Would be nice if you could disassemble for easier washing. I am giving this product two stars instead of one for the fact that I really did love this blender.
