Great blender, I use it all the timeIt was purchased 8/15/2015. It started leaking before I had used it a year but due to illnesses I did not get it returned immediately . It does the job well! Glad I got it. I bought this 3 years ago. Its been a great blender. We use to mostly to make smoothies, which means lots of ice crushing. For an affordable blender, works wonders. Never leaks, and can blend ice well. This is an excellent product, especially for the price. I have been using it for green smoothies for a month and it does a great job. The blender works nicely, very smooth and efficient. Fairly simple to clean. The pitcher comes unscrewed every time you get any resistance from the contents.

I had been using the same one that my husband and I received as a gift at our wedding, over ten years ago. It was literally falling apart and was unable to blend even the simplest of smoothies without smoking! I had been reading about the benefits of adding fruit and vegetable smoothies into our diets, so knew I would need a new blender before trying to make smoothies on a regular basis with my old machine.
I started my search by going to a local department store and perusing the small appliance department. It was there that I saw the KitchenAid KSB560. It appeared to be sturdy and well constructed, so I was intrigued. But I wanted to learn more about it before making a purchase. So I went ahead to ask few friends and family if they had any experience with KitchenAid KSB560 before. I didn’t stop there though. I did spend a good amount of time going through all the belender reviews that talks specifically about theKSB560. There was one specific KitchenAid KSB560 blender review that I read online that made me decide to purchase this model. The user was a mom and she is an intermediate level home cook. In her review she talked about the various types of healthy foods and drinks she was able to prepare for her family. My main motivation for purchasing a high powered blender was to have an appliance that was easy to use. This would allow me to produce quick, delicious and nutritious meals and snacks for my husband, myself and my children.
Based on the reviews that I gathered, this KitchenAid blender sounded like the ideal fit for my needs. It was a Worthy Wait I placed my order and waited impatiently for my new blender to arrive. As soon as it came, I took it out of the box and set it up on the counter in my kitchen. The first thing I noticed was that it fit comfortably under my upper cabinets and it looked fabulous. The style is sleek and clean lined, which goes perfectly with my decor. The first thing that I made was a simple fruit smoothie, using ice cubes, frozen bananas, frozen strawberries and almond milk. My new KitchenAid whipped the ingredients into a smooth, creamy, amazing treat in seconds. I was so impressed! What I wasn’t prepared for was the level of noise produced by this blender. It is incredibly noisy! The second or third smoothie that I made left a few frozen chunks of fruit un-blended, but those are my only complaints. Overall, I was (and still am) thrilled with my KSB560 blender!
After I had tackled about a dozen smoothie recipes, I decided to venture out into new recipes that I could make with my blender. First, I pureed a batch of cream of broccoli and potato soup in the blender. It came out piping hot and creamy, and was enjoyed by all. One morning I even used it to make flax meal out of whole flax seeds. This powerful blender did an excellent job of crushing the little seeds. It’s really easy to clean too. A Personal Vindication in KitchenAid KSB560 If you are thinking of improving your family’s diet (and health-being) by incorporating more fruits and vegetables in an almost effortless fashion, your decision to get the best blender is only the first move. It’ll take lots of discipline to really follow through the plan and make those green smoothies every day in the morning. That’s where you’d need a blender that is not only up to the task but one that is designed to be cleaned easily. So do you think KitchenAid KSB560 makes a cut to be the best smoothie maker and earn a spot in your kitchen top?
