A waste of money, don't buy. yes looks sturdy but the plastic gears that spin the blade are cheap and break soon after purchase. I got mine at Walmart and it's now in the trash. It is designed to fail. I have used this about every day since I bought it. I started making smoothies in the morning for breakfast. Easy to clean and it is sturdy enough to blend a lot of things at once. This blender worked pretty good for a couple of months, but started smelling really bad when the motor started going out. The blender is okay. The machine didn't do so well while making soft serve banana ice cream. That was a little disappointing. Excellent motor and lots of options for the price. This product did not last more than 3 month. It has packed up already.
