This was supposed to be a NEW Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor appliance. However, it was clearly an OPEN BOX item. I was very disappointed in the Cuisinart Smart power deluxe blender. It does not crush ice very well, and takes to long for any of the functions to work. Would not purchase again. It works ok for now but, the plastic seems very cheap (a problem with many products made in China) and it is quite loud.Just make sure you have enough liquid for blending. Only reason for the 4 stars is because it's a tad bit loud.
