This replacement carafe fits and works perfectly. After looking for a while, I chose this product - It's fairly priced. This is just what I need to replace the glass canister that I broke, rather than purchasing a new one. Happy with purchase and delivery Better than the original....it came with volume measurements on side glass. This blender feels sturdy: the lid, with a cap that doubles as a 1-ounce measurer, fits securely, and the pitcher, made of thick, ridged glass, won't wobble. Many chefs prefer a blender rather than a food processor for soups and creamy sauces--the blades of a good blender whirl more quickly than those of a food processor and will refine a thin liquid such as cream of tomato soup to an incomparably silky texture.
This blender is definitely up to that task. The fixed, self-cleaning stainless-steel blades on the base of the pitcher mean the lid is the only separate part to wash. 7 x 8 x 15 inches 3.4 out of 5 stars #82,850 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) #36 in Kitchen & Dining > Bar Tools & Glasses > Ice Crushers #237 in Kitchen & Dining > Small Appliances > Blenders > Countertop Blenders #2,966 in Kitchen & Dining > Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets > Bar & Wine Tools 5 star42%4 star10%3 star9%2 star12%1 star27%See all verified purchase reviewsTop Customer ReviewsHas Stood the Test of Time! The Original Is Still The Best!Commercial grade blenderExceptional Blender Most Recent Customer ReviewsSearch Customer ReviewsThe requested URL /catalog.php?pcID=131_133&product_id=497 was not found on this server. Waring Pro MX1000R Professional Blender The heavy-duty Waring Pro MX1000R Specialty Blender is great for blending sauces, soups, desserts, dressings, beverages and more. The motor and large blades crush ice with ease and smoothly blend fruit drinks and soups. In addition to two speed options, a pulse feature makes it easy to create salsa and more. This powerful blender also has a flexible lid that presses tightly in place and features a central clear cap that turns and releases to open when you need to add foods to your mixture. The dishwasher-safe 64-ounce polycarbonate pitcher with non-slip handle provides the capability to make smoothies in bulk. Features Heavy-duty, 3.5 peak horsepower high-performance motor, 30,000+ RPM 64-ounce polycarbonate container Simple High, Low, Off and Pulse paddle switches ETL, NSF listed How to Use Before starting, make sure that the blender is unplugged.
With the unit in the Off position, place the container on the blender base. Be sure the container is fully seated and that drive coupling is properly engaged. Plug the blender cord into an outlet. Put ingredients into the container, being sure not to fill above the Max line. Always hold the container with one hand when starting and while blending. Never operate without the jar lid in place. Press the paddle switch to the desired speed, be it Hi or Low. To crush ice quickly, use the Hi speed setting. To engage the pulse option, hold the Pulse paddle switch in the lower position. The unit will run on the Hi speed until the paddle switch is released. When finished blending, set the paddle switch to the Off position. Allow the motor to come to a complete stop before removing the container from the blender base. Never place the container on the motor base or remove it from the motor base while motor is running. Once blending is complete and ingredients are removed, wash and dry the container.
Just the size and weight of this blender indicates it is a professional grade workhorse. Weighing 15 pounds and standing 19 inches tall, with an oversized base measuring 9 inches square, the blender takes on a prodigious appearance. The supercharged 3.5 peak horsepower motor and large blades will crush ice with ease and smoothly blend fruit drinks and soups. Only two speeds, high and low, are available, which should cover most needs. The pulse feature is ideal for creating large-particle foods such as homemade salsa and gazpacho. Squared in shape, the tough polycarbonate pitcher features a very generous nonslip handle and holds 64 ounces of cold liquid, less if hot. The flexible lid presses tightly in place and features a central clear cap that turns and releases to open for adding foods. Two paddle-shape switches make operation easy even if hands are wet. The removable pad that covers the top of the blender base to add nonslip cushioning for the pitcher can be tossed in the dishwasher for cleaning.
The four broad legs of the blender are also made of nonslip material to help prevent sliding and make pick-up secure. Because the blade assembly does not unscrew from the pitcher for separate cleaning, the blender pitcher should be washed thoroughly with hot soapy water and a soft scrub brush after each use. 15.5 x 11.3 x 10.5 inches 3.9 out of 5 stars #262,716 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) #582 in Kitchen & Dining > Small Appliances > Blenders > Countertop Blenders I have got hooked on making protein rich smoothies to help avoid muscle aches and pains after strenuous work outs. (And they really work, at least for me).I was tempted to buy a VitaMix, but while doing the research, needed to buy something, so ended up with an Oster Mixer Oster 10-Speed Blender - White that I got from Target for about $17. I was amazed at how well it worked, and decided to see how I got on with it, seeing as how at the price it was I could buy a new one every couple of months and still be ahead of the cost of the VitaMix!
As I started to add green leafy vegetables to my smoothies, and make them more viscous, blending became harder work, both for me and for the Oster. While it never gave up, it took its time to do the job, and would smell slightly cooked at the completion. The thought of having a really nice blender had never gone completely away, so I went back to my research. The VitaMix looks very attractive, but I could never quite get over the feeling that I was paying considerably more than I needed to to support all the advertising that they do.I considered the Blendtec, but I was buying something that I wanted to last for a long time, and my experience of membrane keyboards and microprocessor control is that they are terrific when they work, but trying to get them repaired five years after you bought them, often results in a bill that is more than buying a new one, assuming that you can even still get parts to make the repair. Also, I was concerned that learning multiple key presses to do something as simple as turning it on was not a clever idea.
I am not sure my product was new. The assembly was not correct on the front control panel. I should have returned it. This thing is a beast. I was hesitant to buy this at first because of the cost. However, after using it a few times I feel it is well worth the price. The motor is huge which makes mixing, blending, etc. Works fine but it is VERY fragile. This pitcher couldn't handle frozen strawberries. As you can see from the attached photo, it made an incredible mess. I couldn't really get into this one. It barely shredded spinach and kale. I replaced it with a blend tec. You will never buy another blender.Only two speeds, but it doesn't matter. I am pretty sure trees could be mulched in this things (only a slight exaggeration). I grow extreme hot peppers so i have to do all my blending for sauce out side. This unit is very well made and very powerful. i would recommend this to everyone. Bought it on a whim because I was going to attempt to make healthy smoothies...
