Waring 2-speed, 2-litre heavy duty laboratory blenders are offered complete with a 2-litre stainless steel container with a handle, a two-piece vinyl/styrene lid and a standard blending assembly. The 2-Litre Waring Blender has a 0.9 hp motor and is suitable for use on 230v, 1-ph, 50Hz supply. The low speed is 19,000 rpm approx and the high speed is 23,000 rpm approx (no load). The motor base housing is stainless steel with a die-cast epoxy coated base and the drive coupling is rubber coated steel. The 2-litre blender motor base unit accepts all Waring 1-litre and mini-containers, plus Eberbach blending containers, providing that the optional 21/AD2 adaptor is fitted.
The 21/AD2 adaptor allows all mini, 1-litre and Eberbach containers to be used on the heavy duty 2-litre blender motor base unit. The new Waring 4-litre blender CB15E [image right] has been designed specifically for processing large quantities of free flowing material with a high liquid content, this top of the range 3-speed blender has an integral pulse button and is fitted with a powerful 3.75hp motor encased within a die-cast epoxy coated motor housing. It is ruggedly constructed, easy to move and fitted with full traction rubber feet for greater stability. It now incorporates a liquid resistant easy to clean membrane control pad. A variety of lids are available in plastic or stainless steel, and smaller 2, 1 litre and mini-containers can be used with the aid of the AD adapters. This Borosilicate glass container measures 6-1/2”H x 3-3/4” diameter at the top. Contains a small size blending assembly (8710) (image right). Waring grinders house a high-performance commercial-grade motor in a brushed stainless steel or die-cast housing with a safety interlock lid. PULSE actuation enables easy management of the grind consistency. Includes three fully removable and dishwasher-safe, stainless steel grinding bowls with convenient storage lids. The 21/WSG30E (image right) has a stainless steel housing with a 1.5-cup capacity (355ml) and comes with 3 mixing bowls. The 21/WSG60E has a die-cast housing with a 3-cup capacity (710ml) and comes with 2 mixing bowls. (1 cup is approximately 240ml). Standard base units cannot be autoclaved. Although glass and stainless steel containers can be autoclaved the plastic lids and standard blending assembly seals will degrade.
All blending assemblies can be upgraded to be autoclavable, and the part no has the letter A added. For example a one litre stainless steel container with a stainless steel lid is 21/SS610. The autoclavable version is 21/SS610A. This is our recommended container for autoclaving but other options are also available. Hazard Location and Explosion Resistant Special base units and containers are available for hazardous locations or when blending in solvents. Standard base units should not be used in these situations. The powerful Waring or “Stick" blenders are now available. Please note that container assemblies are not autoclavable in normal configuration, as washers and seals will eventually break down. Two piece lids are also not autoclavable.
