use it 2-3 times a week, perfect kitchen tool, thank you very much This is a must have tool in any cooks kitchen. Have used this so many times in some many different applications. A true work horse. Though it says light-duty, it is much better than the home-use one I used to have. Very effective and fast. I love that it is direct drive and has a powerful motor.

The cord will begin to detach at the handle after a few months and the motor housing will become loose and create a lot of noise and vibration I may try the cordless model after this one finally goes. This doesn't work any better than the old home model immersion blender we were trying to replace. In fact, we've kept using the old one and the Waring is sitting on the shelf. Very powerful and gets the job done super quick, you can use it for just about anything, mash taters, smoothies, pie mix, anything you need a blender or mixer for I bought this for my wife for home kitchen it is strong and powerful and fits everywhere in the kitchen great product and great price
Do not order this junk! I used it ONE TIME and pieces of plastic broke off around the bottom where the plastic and metal meet. said that it looks like I dropped it or misused it, and I DID NOT! They won't take the blender back or give me a refund!!! This blender works great for soups and sauces. It is small enough to use for single serving items and also works well for items in the pot. So much easier than bringing out the blender or food processor. Been using one of these for the last year for things like batter, soups, etc, and never had a problem. Purchasing a second one to help handle all the tasks. Kind of a pain to clean. This stick blender is a handy tool for pureeing soups, whipping potatoes, and making dressings. Construction and design leaves something to be desired. The fact that the head and blade assembly are not removable is less than ideal. Ok purchase at this price point if your jurisdiction requires NSF listed equipment. Better price than other retailers!
Great size we keep it on the shelf next to the line. Works great on soups and sauces, cleans very easily. This is an excellent quality and durable mixer especially if you are heavily using for making sauces and dressings. This smaller model works very efficiently. Waring has great stuff. I bought the medium stick and i really like it so i bought the smaller one and i really like it too. We should of bought this years ago, after going through 3 small (home-use) immersion blenders we knew it was time to upgrade to something commercial, this one is perfect!! This is a great stick blender at a great price. It is an indispensable item in out kitchen and is used every day. we do a lot of small batch sauces and this blender comes in handy. Keep in mind this is a one piece unit. It powers through my boiled beans with no problem. Smoothies, and homemade mayo are a breeze. I will need to get another one to use for my soap making. Great in the preparing of soups and stocks.
It has also been good with helping preparing the fruit pulp necessary for making fruit leathers. What's not to like. This is the perfect milkshake maker, and my crew uses it as such on the regular. There is a weird thing about it that makes it look like it's not togeather correctly, I imagine it's just air intake but it was strange enough that I was banging the thing on the counter trying to get it to 'close'. Then I realized that's just the way it is. We cannot live without this mixer. Perfect strong quality product that we work to death. Waring makes a top quality product and we stand behind this item. I tried other immersion blenders that just did not do what they advertised.I was beyond happy when I found this immersion blender I am constantly using the blender there is nothing better.. I had to buy an immersion blender for my soap products. For the price you can't beat it and it works great. Im happy with my purchase.The Waring Quick Stik costs more than the typical hand blender you can buy in the store, but it can actually work for more than a few months without breaking down.
