This Waring 3.5 hp blender is a beast ! set your timer and select your speed ( hi / lo ) and watch it make a perfect frappe every time.Fits in the dishwasher and makes great smoothies! Have had these for a long time and will continue to use Warings! Can't say anything more! Love the waring blender it makes my life so much easier. The timer on the blender is a plus I can do other things while the blender is blending. The power of the waring is extraordinary never had a blender so powerful. We already had a Vita Mix. This Waring Blender is far superior to our Vita Mix. Can't wait to purchase two more this year. Does the job in half the time of our Vita Mix. This blender works great and its quitter then I expected. I am really impressed with the quality. Its crushes ice which makes great smoothies and frappes. It works so well that i am ordering a second one for my second home in Florida. Top of the line blender. Withstands heavy usage at our bar, which is on the lake and does a high volume of blended drinks. Timer feature is nice as it allows the bartenders to multi-task while making a 2-3 blended drinks at a time. This is a great blender. I purchased this one two months ago for using puree. It comes out very smooths and I don't even need to strain it. Every time I use it. The best product I've ever bought. Bought one of these about six months back for my man cave in the basement and it has been great! It has never given me any problems. It does an excellent job at everything from making mean slushis for the kids to making cocktails at our parties. Bought 4 of these to replace the island oasis blender which although free were incredibly unreliable, these are perfect for our high volume bar because of the countdown timer which leave the bar person free to mix other drinks while it blends without the worry of over blending This is truly one of the best values I've come across since opening our little coffee shop.

It didn't take long and we decided to buy another. Fast, powerful and very affordable in comparison to other commercial blenders. What's the fuss about noise? This blender is an absolute bull!. Quieter than any blender I have ever used for frozen drinks! I've bought this blender 3 months ago and been using it every day since. I am still amazed at how well this piece of work performs. It makes unbelievably good and tasteful smoothies. I've decided to buy a blender after watching an infomercial about the infamous Health Master blender. Thankfully I did my online homework and read just about all the blender reviews out there. In my mind I had to decide among 3 companies: Waring, Vita Mix or Blendtec. I ended up buying the Waring MX1100XT because of its powerful motor, manufacturing quality, price and modern look. It sure makes a statement on my kitchen counter. The Blendtec seemed ok but also a bit flimsy, smaller and lighter than the Waring. As for the Vita Mix I have no doubt about its good quality but the Waring is more powerful and less expensive, so choosing the Waring was a no brainer.

Actually in my mind Waring blenders are as much of good quality (if not better) as Vita Mix blenders however VM focuses way too much on marketing. Marketing (the way VM does it) is very expensive and somehow must be reflected in the price of the blender. Here's one of my preferred green smoothies: 1/2 cup of your preferred yogourt, 1 grapefruit, 2 oranges, 2 apples, a handful of almonds, 2 frozen bananas, 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries, 3 or 4 leaves of kale, 1/2 cup of water, put all that in your blender, blend for 30 seconds at low speed and one minute and half at high speed and feel the life coming inside you while drinking.
