hamilton beach hbs1200 shaver blender Perfect for breakfast smoothies. So I have been using this blender for, I don't know, about two months and it... well, it caught on fire. No flames, but lots of smoke. It is a good machine, a bit loud. The box was pretty based up but fortunately the machine was not damaged Works great, just too noisy. lots of power, purchased mainly for summer drinks and smoothies.should do the trick. better than my 25yr old blender but still takes some time to crush ice...maybe i expected more from the reviews i read on this product
