I would recommend this to anyone who needs a powerful blenderI make smoothies, almond milk, coconut milk and other beverages in a snap. I was concerned because I can't use a dry blade container but in all honesty the value of this blender out weights the need for the dry container. It was a great buy and works beautifully. Yes, I love an inanimate object! I LOVE this blender. If you are looking for a great high powered blender, you need a vitamix! I wanted to get a variable speed model, but I had a cap on the amount I would spend. I'm sure it would be nicer, but this one is fantastic. I've made dressings, yogurts, smoothies and more with this blender. I'm transitioning to mostly raw vegan food and this is a must. I use it everyday. The smoothest drinks I've ever made. If it's not a Vita Mix it's not a blender! If it's not a Vita Mix it's not a blender! If you have never used a Vita-mix and you love blending things your in for a treat. You can just blend fresh fruits and freeze them, it's just like ice cream!
