Since it was refurbished it was no longer under warranty. Luckily I purchased the 3rd party insurance for $5 and got the cost of the... I would say don't buy but they quit selling it. To bad for me but good for you.Worked for almost 3 months then no more automatic brew. Worked well for two weeks of daily use. Since then, nothing but trouble. It is not a 14 cup coffeemaker. It's a 12 cup coffeemaker with a 14 cup pot.Seems to make nice, strong coffee from a moderate amount of grounds, whether making 2 or 14 cups. The best coffee maker I have ever owned. It looks very classy. Refurbished is the way to go! It takes a bit to learn to get the lid on the carafe. I was blown away by this coffee maker and the price!! It makes awesome coffe a lot better than Mr Coffee!!
