It broke down after 2 weeks but was immediatly replaced with a new one from the seller.So far so good...the new philips works ok. not used it much. but the times i have, i have not been disappointed. blends/ whisks perfectly adequately .the build quality is good. not amazing, but for the price... The blender started making noises after about six months and now just over a year after buying it it's stopped working altogether. Which I'd say is pretty shoddy. Does what it says on the box. I bought this to blender my daughters food in February and after less than six weeks the motor stop working when I used the chopper (so in the 'bowl'). Had this item for just under 2 years and worked well. Mostly use the hand blender. Only used the jug a few times and the gears for the blades are made out of plastic and they have... very pleased to have bought one. Very easy to set up and use.
