I use this every morning and it is great for making that morning smoothie. I dont know if it will be able to take the daily use but so far it cuts up my pineapple and blueberries... Only used it about a week now great for my protein drinks, haven't tried mixing fruits etc yet. I read you need to cut items into small pieces so probably not all that powerful. This is a real work horse - strong, fast, easy to clean and keep clean, and blows through ice cubes like they're nothing. I use mine all year, but especially in summer.Love the small compact size.
