The first one is still good but the beaters fell apart after about 18 months of use. This saved me a lot of pain this cookie season by doing the cookie dough perfectly! It's a great hand mixer.

That being said, I wish the base to stand it with was larger. Works well for me. I got it because of the dough hooks to make my homemade beauty products that contain thick shea butter. worked well on low, as well as the other speeds. Only gave it four because I have not used it enough yet to really try it out. Works well but slowest speed a bit fast and tips easily Bought this on Amazon In April of 2015. It came with beaters and dough hooks. The mixer itself seems to work fine, but the dough hooks do not fit into the mixer, one simply will... And forget about making dough with this mixer because it kept pushing my dough up into the hook holes so I just stoped it and knitted it by hand instead. I guess nothing I can do now but stop and mix myself when I mix something and use my fingers to stop the dough from ridding up when I make a dough.

Yes (0) No (0) Report Yes (0) No (0) I bought this item in the store after seeing it online. I couldn't be more pleased. I bake my Christmas cookies for Thanksgiving day so my family members can take them home with them. This mixer made it so much easier. I baked 8 batches of cookies and a homemade cheesecake in a couple of days. Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) I purchased this for my 85 year old grandmother knowing buying a high end mixer isn't what she needed. She just received the product this week so as for using it I do not have feedback. But I do have feedback on what comes with it as well as what doesn't. I purchased this mixer because in the pictures it shows 2 bowls (small and large). She has always had 2 bowls so this was critical. Shame on me for not reading word for word all the details Walmart has listed because this DOES NOT come with two bowls. They need to update the image so you know this. As well it only comes with beaters and dough hooks not the whisking beaters also shown in the image.

Also my grandmother says the glass bowl is extremely heavy. Thankfully I bought this to replace her older Sunbeam model that was broken and it seems the bowls fit in this model as well. Overall I'm glad she can make it work but I'm not happy that what was shown on the images is not what was included with the product. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () I had a Mixmaster for years, loved it so when it finally died I naturally got another one, expecting the same excellent quality. Boy was I wrong. This thing is very light, though the glass bowl is very heavy. Bowl does not have the same pour spout as the older ones. Speed dial lacks the numbers and words for each speed. Can't cream butter and sugar unless you stand and scrape constantly, beaters do not go to the bottom of the bowl so stuff sits there unmixed. Motor strains and goes up and down when mixing, though cake batter was not heavy or too much. I am fed up with this and am going to replace it with something decent. Very disappointed with sunbeam/Mixmaster.

Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) I bought this to make cakes and such. Tried making a cheesecake and it ruined it. There were a bunch of ingredients at the bottom of the bowl that the mixer never touched. It wasn't possible to poor the mix back into the bowl because that would have ruined the crust. The stand was lopsided so it rocks side to side. The case and base are plastic. That didn't bother me until I saw it wobble on the counter top. It didn't matter which position it was placed in. It still rocked from side to side. The cord is VERY SHORT. Someone said you can use it as a hand mixer, only if you want to hold the bowl right next to the wall outlet! The beaters are substantial like they use to be a long time ago. The motor seemed strained for being a 350 watt motor. I liked that it came with A glass bowl but the box pictured two, one smaller than the other. Definitely not keeping this. I had planned on using this at least once a week. That would give me more headaches when it's suppose to make things easier.

It's not even worth $20. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Verified purchaser This mixer is sturdy, and capable of mixing doughs, cheese cake, and everything. I personally feel this is every bit as good as a Kitchen Aid,and feel it is over looked as the true gem, that it is. Yes (9) No (1) Report Yes (9) No (1) Verified purchaser I bought this with the intention of making breads, but every time I used it, the motor got hot. Even when I made buttercream frosting the motor got pretty warm. I figured it was just the style, since it was a 2-whisk mixer rather than a planetary-style mixer. Yesterday I was making bagels and about 70% of the way through the kneading process (about 10 minutes) it just shut off. The motor was so hot I couldn't even touch it! I let it cool and tried again a few hours later and although the light came back on, it wouldn't run. I cleaned it off and left it overnight and tried again, but had the same issue. It worked for a little while, maybe 10 different baking projects since October, but for it to kick off like this was pretty disappointing.

I'll be returning it tomorrow and getting a better brand than Sunbeam. Yes (4) No (2) Report Yes (4) No (2) Ø We appreciate you for taking the time to reach out to us about your mixer, and your feedback does not go unnoticed. If you ever decide to give us another chance in the future, we will be more than happy to take care of you. I have had 2 other Sunbeam Mixmasters that lasted for years but this one is a huge disappointment. 1. The bowl is very, very heavy but it has to be because the plastic casing of the stand unit and the mixer itself would walk all over the counter when on because of the inferior quality. At higher speeds, the whole unit bounces all over. 2. There is only one bowl with this mixer - very disappointing. 3. The beaters do no lock in. Every time I lift the head, the beaters fall out. 4. You cannot mix anything heavier than a cake or quick bread batter. 5. It does not mix well at any speed. The bowl has to constantly be scraped and the ingredients still do no incorporate well.

Overall, the price is outrageous considering the overall poor quality. I am done with Sunbeam products from now on. I cook and bake constantly for my family and this will get trashed as soon as I can afford a new Kitchen Aid.
