Let’s take a closer look: A heavy duty blender, the Vitamix is tall, heavy and powerful! It’s so powerful in fact that after about 1 minute of blending, your food begins to heat up. You can actually make a warm soup in it! It has two functions: fast and faster. It’s incredibly straightforward – with no fancy features or fuss – with this machine you switch it on, pulverize your food and switch off. you can blend all fruit and vegetables, it can even handle larger, roughly cut pieces. Like the Vitamix you can blend all fruit and vegetables, even throw in larger, roughly cut pieces. Incredibly powerful and fast, its performance is comparable to the Vitamix and it’s also used in professional kitchens. The Blendtec stops blending automatically at 50 seconds, so you can never accidentally overheat your green shake (which does sometimes happen to me with the Vitamix!) about 38 cm tall – make sure it fits under your kitchen cabinets price: around $300-400 USD / Singapore SGD1,150 This little guy packs a big punch. It was voted in a consumer report as the best affordable blender after the Blendtec and Vitamix.
