It has been a wonderful, versatile appliance (2 mixing bowls, 2 bread and 2 regular beaters, meat grinder, juicer, and blender), with a powerful motor, that continues to function perfectly. Naturally due to age, the rubber seal beneath the blender wore out. I recently tried to make smoothies, and liquid began to leak from the bottom of the blender. I seriously considered investing in a new, up-to-date blender for the purpose and sadly taking the entire Kitchen Center unit to Goodwill. Hubby felt he could find replacement parts. We ordered them from Walmart in the morning (in a small town) and the parts were ready for pickup that afternoon!

The repair clearly fixed the problem and I now have a brand new appliance! I love having fresh, new, sharp blades. I did not really need the new round lid, as my blender is an old square shape. The kit contains two rubber seals, so have a spare "tucked away" to be used in the future.....(if I need it and can remember where I put it!!)
