Some I slowly drained the liquid and found many pieces of the old gasket. This arrived when expected and was the correct part for my old blender. gaskets did not appear to be cheaply made or old.
Bought those rubber rings to use with Oster Pro 1200, in fact the system offered me to buy them as companion purchase with the blender. Exactly as ordered, fits my Oster perfectly and there are three so I will never have to worry about one wearing out or breaking! Good price, fast shipping,. They are just what I needed, I still get leakage, not sure if that because my housing is old or if these just are up to par. Osterizer is a brand which has been used by Oster Manufacturing for its line of blenders since 1946. It is claimed to be the first mainstream brand of blender,[1] though technically the Waring blender brand was introduced in 1937. In 1946, Oster acquired the Stevens Electric Company, which had received a patent on the liquifying blender in 1922. Oster itself was bought by Sunbeam Corporation in 1960. Osterizer blenders tended towards heavy construction and motors. waring blender lb20egWhile this raised cost, many early-model Osterizers still function today, and are more powerful than a majority of contemporary consumer blenders.oster fusion blender costco[] Oster Platinum Face 60-Minute Timer celebrated the 80th Anniversary on December 2010.hamilton beach wave station express dispensing blender walmart

Also great for making smoothies or shakes right in the drinking glass. Love this hand blender! Yes () No (3)  Report Yes () No (3) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser Love it!

And it is easier to clean also which is a Big plus for me.
Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female Verified purchaser I gave this product 4 stars because I have only had it for prob. less than 2 weeks so I can't comment on durability. On the other hand, it is surprisingly good. The price is spectacular and this lil machine is quite a wonder. My first trial with this yielded a great smoothie drink which is what I only use it for. It only has one button which is the pulse button and I realized on first use that if you hold that button down too long while in use, you would begin to smell the motor burning. I learnt that you would want to pulse then stop a sec, pulse then stop a sec and maybe mix up whatever it is you got in the cup. This is the way I got a perfect smoothie second time around. Also, I prepared my smoothie by first adding fresh fruits in the bottom of the cup, followed by frozen fruits, very little conc. Juice as liquid for you need a lil liquid or the blender will stall. Blend a lil and add ice to finish.
Blend some more, and voila smoothie as seen in the pic provided. This is just the way I do mine and don't expect everyone to follow this ,but to conclude, it's a great lil mobile blender that would get the job done as long as the job isn't anything 'heavy duty'. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () Verified purchaser I've been using this lil blender for a few weeks now, and I can't say enough good things about it! I make 2-3 shakes a day, and compared to my large size blender, I like this one better! It's small, takes barely any space on the counter, is much quieter than most blenders, and the blades are sharp enough to chop to perfection, over and over again! I especially love that the blending cup is just that, you can fix your shake, remove the blending cup, that already has the drinkable lid on it, and head right out the door! Oh and under $16, well that's the icing on the cake! Don't wait, get yours.. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () This item is worth the price. I love it, i was looking for a mini blender that didnt take up alot of space and didnt cost soo much.
I am always using this for my protein drinks and since i am the only one in my home that drinks protein drinks this works perfect for me. I can also take the protein drink with me on the go which i did a while back. Not a large mess to clean up, and following the directions of how to use this blend is easy. This is not to small and not to big. You have to go get you one. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I love this! It's great for my smoothie/ protein drink. I bought it for my travel trailer because it has a small base, unlike the other blenders. ( It fits up in my cabinet). I add my water, protein powder, fresh or frozen fruit, & top it off with ice, then pulse. Twist it off then take it with you to drink while you head down the road. ( My husband drives). I like it so much, that I just bought one for my house so I don't have to drag out my big blender or my hand blender. Another great feature is the cord......it wraps around the base, keeping it out of the way during storage.
Yes (8) No (2)  Report Yes (8) No (2) I think it's a great little machine for the price. It did not crush the ice completely but overall it did a good job. I'm happy with this purchase. Yes (8) No (0)  Report Yes (8) No (0) Verified purchaser Perfect for on-the-go. Sufficient personal size, if not more. It's not a juicer, it produces smoothies. If using raw fruits/veggies they should be cut into small pieces. I take this to work to make a veggie juice/smoothie. It does create a lot pulp(fiber) with veggies like kale or even apples but it does it's job. Obviously, I purchased this for it's convenience and not high-end quality. It's a perfect personal travel-sized blender for a great value. Yes () No (2)  Report Yes () No (2) Verified purchaser I love this blender. It's extremely convenient, and works really well. Crushes ice and hard frozen fruit in just a few seconds. I also love how you can just pop it out and drink it straight from the blending cup. However, there are also a few things I don't like.
The lid is kind of flimsy, and has the little opening to drink out of which is kind of impractical, since usually smoothies are thick and hard to drink out of a small opening. Also, it only has a pulse button, no blend. It's not too big of a deal, but you can't just walk away for a few seconds to get something from the fridge and have it continue to blend. Lastly, since the blades are not removable, it's pretty hard to clean well. I can't get my hands down in there and I can't find anything in the instructions saying whether or not it's dishwasher safe. All in all, the convenience and efficiency (and price) of this blender are enough to cover the few problems. It's a great single serve blender and I'd recommend it to anyone. Yes () No (3)  Report Yes () No (3) I don't understand what all the excitement is about. While I was in Walmart I stood in front of this hapless little blender reading everyone's reviews on it. I felt quite comfortable in purchasing it. Once home I was pleased with the quality of the unit.
However, when I went to mix my protien drink the unit failed. It appeared to have jammed on ice cubes. I poured everything out and found the blade stuck inside an ice cube! I un-jammed it and then loaded liquid first with ice cubes on top. I pulsed first without results then tried holding the button down steady. The poor thing stuttered and jammed again with all the ice cubes just circling around the top of the unit. It also began to smell like it was overheating. I find it hard to believe that a unit can chop ice when the enclosed booklet says not to chop meat or nuts in it! I feel like I hurt it's delicate little feelings. So unless you're making room temp. kool-aid, this unit is a fail. It did not work at all for what it is made to do. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () Alright! I had to replace a GE blender that I purchased from the store the SAME DAY I bought it. I read the reviews for this one and must say I AGREE! This is a great little blender. Who'd have thunk it? LOL I make frozen smoothies with ice and frozen fruit and this little thing has so much power it just blends to a smooth texture.
It makes 1 large smoothie, 2 decent sized smoothies or 3 mini smoothies (which is usually just perfect) in one blend. But it's so quick and easy that if I had a larger family making two or three rounds of smoothies would be ok too. I gave it 4 stars on meeting expectations simply because I do have to stir it around to get it to blend all the ice and frozen fruit, but all in all it's not a big deal. I think it's a normal thing to have to do with blenders. This truelly is a great product. And it's so cheap I'm sure many like myself pass it by for a more expensive one hoping to get better results. This one does so much better then $30.00 blender I had to return. Yes () No (8)  Report Yes () No (8) This blender totally surpassed by expectations and i would without a doubt recommend it and would buy another one in a second! I love making fresh healthy smoothies and protein drinks but have always hated having to use my full size blender just to make myself one small drink. My full size blender finally bit the dust and after looking up blenders i saw this small "personal size" one and went for it.
