You can use it for grilling, stewing, frying and even one-dish casseroles. Omelets, pancakes, chili and stew can all be prepared by this one appliance. Kitchen Aid® Blender/Immersion Blender: A blender makes much more than smoothies. Use it to make breadcrumbs, blend bisque soups and puree sauces. The handheld version is even more convenient, as you can blend or puree soups and sauces right in the pot. Crock Pot® Slow Cooker: If you’re a busy mom, the slow cooker is your new best friend. Throw all of your ingredients into it in the morning, and come home to a kitchen filled with the aroma of a meal that’s been cooking all day. There’s no need to sweat outside with this grill, as you can use it from the convenience of your kitchen countertop. Aroma® Rice Cooker: Rice may be the most basic food, but it’s incredibly difficult to prepare perfectly.
A rice cooker takes the guessing out of cooking rice, and guarantees light, fluffy, restaurant-quality rice every time. Panasonic® Microwave: You likely already have a microwave, but how old is it? Modern microwaves offer several new features outside of making popcorn or reheating a cup of coffee. A new microwave can add several dimensions to your food preparation. Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female Before I bought this blender, I looked at the NutriBullet and the Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender alongside the Oster MyBlend in the store (Kissimmee, FL). A friend introduced me to the doTERRA Slim Shake and, after making the mix without a blender the first time, I liked what I was tasting and I knew I wanted to add frozen fruits and such to it so I needed a blender. I am not a big kitchen person so buying a full- sized blender was out of the question.
Besides, my fibromyalgia sometimes gets in the way of lifting things above a certain weight and with stirring things such as you do in cooking.... Anyways, the reasons I settled on this particular blender were (1) it is cheaper than the NutriBullet, (2) Oster is a fantastic brand; I grew up with Oster blenders in my house, (3) I like the idea of changing the cover and it becomes a cup, and (4) it is lightweight enough that my fibro should not get aggravated when I move it. ninja blender fingerhutI have not crushed ice in it but I have blended my shake with frozen fruits and bananas. oster blender parts north vancouverWhat I use it for does not need ice.... cuisinart cb-1400pc reviewI have used it almost every day in the morning for the past 3 weeks. kitchenaid professional 9-speed hand mixer khm926
It has blended my ingredients well (I leave it stirring for a full 1- 2 min); I don't get residues from my ingredients. If you are in the market for an inexpensive and reliable blender, I highly recommend the Oster MyBlend!!! Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () After getting this I become a big fan of smoothies. It is very handy and crush veggies & fruits very finely. I have it for more than a year now! Yes () No (7)  Report Yes () No (7) I've been doing some internet research & toying with the many options of what to buy, a big blender or a small personal blender which is what I originally wanted... just easier cleanup and quick on the go. I've looked on amazon & walmart to see whats out there. I have to admit, I ended up not buying online bcz when I was in a store I saw this personal blender for $20. For $20 why not try it.... The second I got home I tried it. I threw in a VERY frozen sliced banana from my freezer, a handful of ice cubes (not crushed), protein powder, and a little water.
Gosh it was so easy! I plopped the sport bottle on the blender and all you do is turn it to the left to start blending. SO EASY and very quick. BAM, my drink was ready AND the ice was pretty chopped up. Its exactly what I wanted.... so glad I didn't spend more AND very glad I went with a smaller convenient blender over a big blender which would mean pouring into a sports bottle and extra cleaning. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I haven't had a blender since I moved into my new apartment, so I bought this one today. I purchased this particular blender after spending about 10 minutes comparing similar products in the store. There are several reasons why I chose this blender, but I do believe that the price was the deciding factor. I was able to use my new blender as soon as I got home. There are a couple of basic instructions, but other than that, you just fill the sports bottle & you're ready to blend. I like that there aren't a lot of different pieces, so that makes the blender very easy to use & (in my opinion) minimal clean up is required.
For my blender's first use, I only filled my sports bottle with fruits. That made for a small, but tasty breakfast drink. I definitely plan on using this appliance at least 5 times a week (hopefully more). I will probably look at buying a second sports bottle so that I can have one for home, and one for work. Yes () No (2)  Report Yes () No (2) I have used this twice a day everyday, and love it. Just bought another one so that I can make my husband and I a smoothie at the same time. I have used my for over a year!! I just love this little blender!! Yes (0) No (0)  Report Yes (0) No (0) I have had my blender for over 6 months and it still works with no replacements at all!!! I had to replace my magic bullet parts every month until I ended up purchasing the mini-magic bullet and the motor went out!! So, I said I am not putting that much money in another blender. So, I choose the Hamilton Beach blender and cracked my cup after 90 days. I was fine with it because it only set me back 20 bucks!
I choose this blender because of the option to replace the cup and low and behold the blender never gave out on me!! I lost my cup "well my husband cleaned the house and I could not find my cup!" So, I am here purchasing a replacement cup. But I am so pleased I purchased this product, it did not disappoint! Yes () No (3)  Report Yes () No (3) Verified purchaser Bought this for myself to make healthy meal replacement shakes. Blends frozen fruits with no problem. Love that it's done right in the bottle so I don't have to pour it into anything else. Saves time and more dirty dishes. Yes (0) No (0)  Report Yes (0) No (0) Verified purchaser I bought this blender in January 2013 because it was exactly what I was looking for to make my morning shakes. For starters, my shakes call for a minimum of 12 oz of milk. Except for the 20 oz measurement on the top of the cup, the cup for this blender doesn't have the measurements on the sides like others do - and should. I had to use a water bottle with the actual numbers along the side to gauge 12 to 13 oz for my purpose.
Next, while it blended as well as can be expected, it did leave some chunks bananas and other berries after blending a couple of times. Lastly, the entire unit only lasted 6 months before the motor completely burned out. Yesterday, July 8, 2013, without any warning or obvious signs it was nearing its end, the base of the blender started smoking and the motor burned out. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () Yes it blends, but works fine only without fiber rich ingredients. The knife cannot chop the fiber of the leafy greens and fruits like pineapple. I have to take those fiber out from the knife and then re-blend the smoothie if I use those ingredients. The bottle is too long that some ingredients will just stuck at the buttom of the bottle and will not dropping to the blade end. Cleaning the bottle itself is a hard work and especially not for careless people. The shape of the lip makes it hard to clean. I still use this blender and enjoy bringing the smoothie with me, but I use it less and less often.
