Ionia Imagination LibraryToday we received a memorial gift in the amount of $286.00 from the Ionia County Health Department and their staff in memory of JoAnne Eakins. JoAnne was a nur...sing supervisor that worked at the agency for 17 years. She was very much a supporter of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Ionia County. She assured that staff enrolled children in the program, in addition to making a personal financial contribution to the program each year. This gift will be added to another memorial and it will be the first steps in establishing an endowment with the Ionia County Community Foundation so the seeds of sustainability can develop firm roots for literacy in our county.
