Plenty of horsepower to instantly crush 2 cups of ice and blends well but is really, REALLY loud. The new version of this blender is not as well made as the one I was replacing. Motor loud, ice chopping not as good.I've been using it for a few months with no complaints. Bought it to replace an identical one that lasted 10 years. I bought this blender again.
