My new Ninja Master Prep Professional arrived yesterday and I'm already in love! This clever little appliance ROCKS! That's what I wrote within a day of receiving mine a few months ago. Ever since, I have found more and more uses for my Ninja. It hasn't let me down yet. Needing a new blender, I ordered a popular brand basic blender.
cuisinart ssb1u soup maker best priceAs usual, it had the single blade set up in the bottom of the blender.
cuisinart blender spb-7ch manualAfter trying two different things--mixing a slush and crushing ice--I returned it. It didn't work for either task. So I started over. After more research over several days, I decided on the Ninja Master Prep. I am still amazed at how well and how fast it works. I've never had another blender that was so quick. It is so impressive.

I've now tried plenty of experiments to test it myself. As you can see in the photos below, it is not only very effective, but also amazingly quick! The vegetables I chopped took less than five seconds for each. Actually the spinach was chopped finer than I wanted in about three! Besides spinach, I've used it for... Cauliflower, for rice in seconds Onions, fast means less tears Any other vegetable you want to chop Spices like basil and cilantro Pureeing soups or other liquids Pancake batter, blend then simply pour Blending butter with flour for crusts and scones You can see how versatile and handy it is. Next I want to try to make ice cream. I also like that the Master Prep comes with three different sized containers. A small one for chopping, a medium size pitcher, and a full size pitcher. Two splash guards, one for the small and one for the other two, are placed on top of each container. The motor unit fits into that guard, securing the blades.

Simply push on the top, and the unit pulses. A few pulses seems to be all it takes! Because it serves so many functions, I can eliminate several other small appliances, like a food chopper and a coffee grinder. One important tip that should be mentioned: Instructions say do not pulse for more than 15 seconds at a time. That has turned out to be easy, since with the pulse action usually takes less than that! So far, The Ninja Master Prep exceeds my expectations! I'm anxious to try a smoothie or juice, fresh salsa, and some different salad dressings. With my Ninja will won't take long at all! See this Ninja and Others HereWhile they make several varieties of the Ninja that you can see here, the QB1004 is all I need. The three container sizes are all useful, the double blades that are easily removed, and the motor on top, make the Ninja super effective. The Features of the Ninja Master PrepHere are the new features it comes with that make the Ninja invaluable to me:

Since the motor sits on top, it doesn't get wet or dirty. It is be very easy to keep it clean. The motor is a powerful 450-watts. Since the blades secure at the top, it is much easier to access the contents--without the blades in the way. You can simply pull the blade(s) out, and use a spatula to get out every last spoonful from the bottom of the container. The large splash guard comes with a pouring spout, so when you pour into a glass or bowl, it's easy. Each container has a non slip base, removable for washing. Stacked, double blades work so effectively compared to the old style blender blades. The sizes are 16 oz, 40 oz, and 48 oz. Each comes with a storage lid that seals the container. So many of the most powerful blenders cost several hundred dollars. This unit seems to do the job for a fraction of that price. I love finding a great product for such a good--and affordable--price. Crushed ice, thirty seconds. You can see the finished product in the photo gallery. Frozen fruit in a drink? Check out the Cabernet Slush. The Ninja works so thoroughly I think it could be used for green drinks, though it doesn't extract the juice. It chops and blends the ingredients so well that drinks like smoothies will be easy. Here's a Ninja cookbook! This should be invaluable. There are several Ninja cookbooks. Click here to access others A good knife making cooking so much easier. This best seller will be handy for cutting veggies into a size that fits easily into the Ninja containers. The Ninja Blends Butter and FlourFor the latest test, I used the Ninja to make scones this morning. First, it called for frozen butter. I thought that might be hard on the Ninja. Second, you know how much time it can take to cut butter into flour and sugar by hand? It can take quite awhile, and my hand would get sore by the time it was ready. With the Ninja it took less than 40 seconds, and the butter was frozen!

Amazing how the Ninja works! Want to see the finished scones? Here's my recipe for Raspberry Scones and More. Next time I make a pie crust, it will not only save time, but be more thoroughly blended besides. Scones come together in minutes this way. Ninja Blending Frozen Butter and Flour Butter, Flour, and Sugar ready for scones Everyone needs several spatulas. When I am cooking or baking one is never enough! The Ninja Master Prep Grinds Coffee BeansIt even grinds coffee beans! There's a picture below. It took about 30 seconds total. Now I can take a coffee grinder off my wish list. That is another thing I love--when one appliance makes a second one unnecessary! The Ninja versus Coffee Beans Check out these videos to see the Ninja in action. It's quite amazing to watch how fast it works. In my photos above, you can see how well it chops and blends.
