I talked to quite a few people on getting the perfect blender. At this point in my life, I can't afford to get a VitaMix. So, the Ninja is perfect. I use this a lot in making my shakes and it works wonderfully. I would recommend this product to anybody and this vendor as well, thank you. I love the sharp blades on the blender but I HATE the product because the lids stick to the container and you can never open to get the food in or out. I love everything Ninja i want everything in my kitchen to be a Ninja product next think i want is the Ninja coffee maker The square shaped container leaves much of what you're blending stuck to the sides, untouched by the blades. I really enjoyed this blender for the moment I had it, but I didn't like how it blended smoothies or anything green or with oats, it kind of failed in that Dept. Broken and tossed out. I only had the blender for 90 days and it broke.Good price, however, motor quit after about a year. Because it was used, there was no warranty. I still feel that it was a good buy. Great Blender and lots of power. I received this as a gift and I couldn't be happier. Crushes ice and makes great smoothies and shakes. For the money I don't think you can beat it. I bought this as a gift because I loved my Ninja blender system so much. I didn't realize when I purchased this that it's not compatible with the single serve cups, which I... Works great so far
