You’ve used your shiny new Ninja NJ600 for the first time and now it’s filled with the remains of your strawberry-banana smoothie, mashed potatoes or tomato sauce. Now it’s time to make it sparkle like it did when you took it out of the box after you got that great deal. [Looking to purchase a Ninja NJ600? According to Consumer Reports, the “stacked blades” assembly isn’t anchored to the pitcher, which may cause the blades to fall out when you pour. This raises the risk of laceration and has led to many complaints. The safety recall recommends that users either remove the lid and blades before pouring or pour through the spout on the lid. When cleaning your NJ600, take extra care when removing and handling the blades. You’ll be happy to know that if you have a dishwasher, you can use it to clean most parts of your Ninja NJ600, which features six blades and a BPA-free, 72-ounce pitcher.

But I love this machine Yes () No (7)  Report Yes () No (7) Was interested in getting a juicer/blender for a diet program for the husband. So far we've had it for 2 days and are impressed with the machine. Clean-up is simple enough even he can do it, coming clean with a simple rinse with hot water. We've only used the juice/blending option w/ the 72oz bucket but have no complaints. EXTREMELY happy with the safety features that do not allow machine to be turned on w/o the container being secured or if the lid is not on and closed completely. Machine has plenty of horsepower and chops thru all types of fruits/veggies w/o struggling in the least. The suction cup feet locking system also works flawlessly. Interested to see how this works as a dough maker and food processor, but this multi-function machine has already made more counter space by removing my blender and food processor from the kitchen. 5* rating not given simply because we haven't tried all the functions of the machine yet, but we both feel that we got our money's worth from this purchase.
Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I bought this last year, and it has never given me any problems. Yes (2) No (0)  Report Yes (2) No (0) I bought the Ninja system primarily for making smoothies. My experience was very disappointing! There are a lot of positive reviews, but I can't say the same for me. Can it crush ice like they advertise? Sure it can, but I didn’t buy this thing to make snow cones! I bought it to make smoothies. But when I was making smoothies, with flaxseed, lemon with the skin, leafy greens, fruits, and other ingredients, my smoothie always had chunks in there that I had to chew rather than drink!!! Even if I would add more water, I would still get chunks. Also, the pour spout wasn’t sitting on the lid tightly, and I had to literally hold the lid and the spout cover with one hand, otherwise stuff kept squirting out from the sides! And finally when I tried to make pizza dough in the advertised “eight-cup bowl capacity that makes two pounds of dough in 30 seconds”, well let’s just say that the machine kept stalling and getting stuck.
I would have to unplug the power so it would reset itself. Needless to say I have returned it. I'm much happier with a high power blender that I purchased. This one does and it is great! I have not even used the other accessories just the single smoothie cups, but I love it just for those. Yes (2) No (0)  Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser This seems to be a very well built machine. We were surprised at how solidly it feels and responds to the demands of making cole slaw and fruit smoothies. We really enjoy the two blending cups for drinks as well as the two major attachments for dough making and other blending/food processing activities.
Yes (6) No (0)  Report Yes (6) No (0) Verified purchaser There are some negative reviews for this set however I can honestly say it is well worth the investment. It makes a smoothie in 10 seconds flat, and being able to do so in the single serve cup means that smoothie prep takes almost no time at all and the clean up is less than a minute. A friend raved about her vitamix however I wasn't ready to drop $500 on a blender that I may not use every day. I do have a food processor which is great for slicing and cutting - but that is a pain to clean and store! I keep the ninja base on my counter top and just clip whichever part on as needed. I researched this product on a number of different sites and for the most part the reviews are 5 stars. I found Wal-Mart to still be the cheapest place to get the whole set, even as compared to eBay. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I bought this because I needed a food processor to make Hummus for a 5 day detox program. When I compared it with other food processors that were cheaper, there was no comparison.
