It doesn't have all the extras which she didn't want anyway, just the base and two cups. Because of the price, I got one for myself as well. I made fruit protein shakes in my blender daily for my husband and I and of course had to wash all the "parts" afterwards. With the Ninja, I blend and go - no clean up! I prepare his and he blends it when he is ready to drink it now as opposed to having to shake it up to reblend it from sitting. He absolutely loves it! And my mother has been making her juice everyday since I gave it to her, she said it's so easy with no clean up.

Juicers have many parts to wash and the Ninja has only the cup and blade. We can't believe how much simpler our mornings are now! This is one of my most favorite appliances! I was speechless to say the least. All I did to "clean up" was rinse the cap that had the blade and store it away. The motor on the blender can be a bit loud, but I don't really mind it because I'm not using it for more than a minute or two at a time. If you are on the fence about what blender to buy for smoothie making, I cannot recommend this one enough! It has 600W (and so does the Nutribullet which retails for $100 at most stores.) I do think that the price is a bit high but I guess you have to pay for convenience.
