For normal use, oven door removal is not recommended.

However, if removal is necessary, make sure the oven is off and cool. Then, follow these instructions. IMPORTANT:  The oven door is heavy.  Use two hands to remove oven door(s).   There are 2 styles of door hinges, please refer to your appliance and the illustrations below for the style on your model. Door with hinge latches Door without hinge latches Door with  hinge latches To remove oven door(s) 1. Prior to removing oven door, prepare a flat surface to place the oven door: Cover with a soft blanket or Use the corner posts from packaging material 2. Open the oven door. 3. Locate oven door hinge locks / latches in both corners of oven door.  Rotate / flip up hinge lock / latch toward oven door to unlocked position.  If door hinge lock / latch is not rotated / flipped fully (see illustration B), door will not remove properly.  NOTE:  Hinge lock / latch will vary depending on model number.       4. Partially close door to engage door latch locks.  Door will stop at this point.  

5. Using two hands, grasp edges of oven door.  Lift and pull oven door toward you and remove.  The door may need to be gently shifted from side to side as you pull the door. 6. Set oven door(s) aside on prepared covered work surface, with oven door resting on its handle. Replace Oven Door(s) 1. Using two hands, grasp side edges of door at midpoint.  2. Locate slots on each side of oven cavity for door hinge locks. 3. At a 45° angle, align door hinges with slots in lower front of oven cavity.  Slowly insert door while maintaining 45° angle.  The door is engaged in the slot when you feel a slight drop. 4. Lower oven door to fully open position:  If oven door does not open to full 90°, repeat steps 1 - 3. 5. Locate the oven door hinge locks / latches in corners of oven door and rotate hinge locks / latches toward oven cavity to locked position. See Step 3 (Illustration A) in the "Remove Oven Door(s)" section for proper locked position.   7. When hinges are properly installed and door is closed, there should be an even gap between door and control panel: If one side of oven door is hanging lower than other side, hinge on that side is not properly installed Repeat the steps to remove and replace oven door

Door without hinge latches To remove oven door(s):  1. Open oven door to the first stop position (opened about 4" [10.0 cm]). 2. Grasp the door at each side. Do not use the door handle to lift the door. 3. Evenly lift the door until it clears the hinge arms. To replace oven door(s):  1. Grasp door at each side. kitchenaid blender zerlegen2. It is as expected. Gets the job done. Worked great as I expected.It beats the same as the original that came with the kitchen aid". I did not receive a bright shinning replacement. Mine was more like brushed metal and the paint or whatever it is came off in my mix. Not dishwasher safe, and the insert makes no mention of washing method. I would not have purchased this had I known. The dishwasher has ruined it. See and discover other items: electric mixer, commercial stand mixerDepending upon which model you  have, there may be different methods of assembly: Choppers: 1.  Place work bowl on base, and if your model  has a handle, slide the handle from the left to right and center in the front of the chopper. 2.  Drop the blade into the chopper and push down.  Some models have blades that "click" into place. 3.  Attach the chopper lid, sliding from left to right front center to align the locking mechanism. Food Processors: 1. Place the Work Bowl on the motor base with the handle facing in the 9 o’clock position if your food processor has a handle in the center.

Grabbing the handle, twist the bowl to the right until it locks into place at the 6 o’clock position. If the handle is to the side, place the handle slightly to the left, and slide to the right. It is important that the Work Bowl be placed on the base with the handle facing to the left side, because the tabs on the shaft of the Food Processor have a slight tapering. They may break off if the handle is positioned on the right side (4:00 position) and then forced to the center when attaching the bowl to the base. 2. Select a blade or disc to use. To attach the Multipurpose Blade, place the blade on the power base shaft. It may be necessary to rotate the blade slightly so that it is properly aligned and falls into place. To assemble a Slicing or Shredding Disc, place the Disc Stem on the power base shaft. Fit the selected disc over the metal pin on the Disc Stem, aligning the center opening of the disc with the ridge of the stem. 3. To use the Mini Bowl: Place the Mini Bowl over the power base shaft inside the Work Bowl.
