I found a LOT of discrepancy regarding this when searching the internet, so I'd recommend you do a little more research or call KitchenAid at your time of purchase for confirmation. A few other reviewers had already done the research to tell me that THIS bowl was for my mom's mixer (KSM5). I double checked to be extra sure and placed my order. When the bowl came in, well it's a bowl! It's a nice bowl to be sure, well made polished outside, brushed interior those looking to display their KA will have to watch out for fingerprints!
