The kitchen aid is very quiet and it has a long cord may so you can use it over a sink. It has spayed the mixture out a few times. Where has this been my whole life?!? I keep finding uses for it! Mashed potatoes, baby food, smoothies (right in my cup!) It was a gift and my daughter loved itno more lumps in my protein shakes Gift for a new mom making toddler purees, and soups for the family.
