This mixer was sold back to KitchenAid for display at their headquarters. Kitchen Aid Model G Production started in 1927 and this example was produced early in the production run. This model is the predecessor to the modern model K5SS mixer. It was also a 5 quart bowl with planetary mixing action. As you can see the mixer changed quite a bit from the previous model pictured above.
