KitchenAid W10390812 Replacement Jar Parts Very happy with this purchase great product 4.5 stars - a bit expensive. The bottom and upper portion do not separate, much easier clean up. Works great for our daily smoothies. Arrived early and was a perfect match. After 5 months of use, the drive gears have worn down & rounded off! Now the blender jar is useless! Too much $$$$ for only 5 months of use! Well it's the replacement jar. I haven't used it yet. I didn't realize it was just the jar and no lid :(Just remember the key is to always reach down inside, before you put it on the base, and make sure that your nuts are tight.
Good quality, I was scared because of some of the reviews. But it is nice and has been working great. Blade drive shaft seal melted and disintegrated on first use. It's quiet and does the job great!!Condition: Newby Kitchenaid 560 Great BlenderI try to do research when buying a product. Unfortunately the one that kept showing up as highly rated was the Kitchenaid KSB560. cuisinart smart stick extendable shaftIt was out of my price range averaging $80-$100 new. kitchenaid ksb655 blender reviewsI wanted to spend no more than $40. I was giving up on the Kitchenaid almost settling for an Oster. Lo and behold I spotted a used one (one time) and got it for $49 with shipping. If you have seen the 5 blender demo with some very expensive blenders you will see the Kitcheaid smoke them all. Kills ice, and I have not been adding much liquid lately. I blended a full apple and orange with ice and it made liquid out of it. Quiet and strong at .9 Horse motor this is a great blender.
The one piece pitcher is great and washes with water and 2 drops of dish liquid on stir. I have been making frozen drinks for my family and myself every night for weeks. Great blender, great product. Read full reviewby The Blender I needed at I price I couldn't resistThis Blender Rocks, I was brought up with and made it through countless hi protien smootines for my wife with another very well known blender which boasted more speeds and had a longer standing reputation. But over the years the number of times the darn thing bogged down on too much fiberous fruit or leaked out the liquid because the blade and base were'nt just perfectly put on had driven me to seek a new solution. I looked at the blenders they demo at the state fair but was not about to spend more than a car payment on a blender. Tnen I read a review from America's Test Kitchen which gave this one very high ratings in every category including the all important smoothie category. I took a chance and bought mine on ebay from a recent bride who claimed that she'd received blenders in the double digits and "didn't like blenders"- guess she's never had a decent daquri or pina colada.
Anyway the blender simply rocks! One Horesepower worth of chopping. mixing, pureeing, and liquifing power makes this a blender any guy (or gal) could appreciate and the ice crushing function makes home made snow cones or slushee's a definite plan for this summers entertainment for the kiddos. The pitcher cleans easily despite the fact that the bottom does not come off and as a result there are no dribbled messes to contend with. I'm also jazzed that the polycarbonate pitcher will not be sending me off for replacements the way the old blender we used to have did. On the down side the thing seems almost too powerful at times but I'm hopefull that mastering the pulse button will alow me a gentler touch when it's required. Only time will tell if 1hp worht of power will take it's toll on the copling between the base and the pitcher but the way the pitcher sits over the base and the 12 point star spline seem to be engaging very snugly and seem to be durable. In short I really really love this blender and do not regret having gone a bit out of our rather tight budget at the moment to buy it.
