Hope it lasts as long as my hand-held whisk/mixer for cakes etc. I was given it as a present in 1976 ! This is my second one of these...the first one i bought in 2015 seized because it says that its dishwasher safe and it apparently isnt. The blade arm comes out from the motor while using it even if doing a very light non sticky zuchini puree. I bought other versions of HB700 but this didn't happen. It broke in 6 months - I have had mine about 14 months but only use it occasionally. The masher attachment will not attach to the handle and I have only used that part 4 times!
