Copper finish Terrible.The mixer is fabulous. Heavy duty, the bowls are beautiful, and it does everything beautifully. The real problem is the copper finish. If anything, and I mean anything, gets on the copper, it stains. You cannot get the stain out/off. It makes the mixer look filthy dirty all the time. Mine, is even oxidizing at parts on the back, that I keep cleaning. My blender did the same thing. Whatever the copper finish was that Jenn-air contracted for was a total fail. There is absolutely no way to make it look good unless, you tear it apart and have it spray painted, reassemble and you are good. I have several beautiful glass bowls for it and I also bought the stainless one.

But the finish makes it to me an eyesore. Also, the beaters, they lose their finish also. They look terrible in nothing flat. They MUST be hand washed. These mixers are discontinued and are known to short out - as my first one did after two years of good use. However, for the money it is a great choice. I love the electronic buttons on it as opposed to the lever on the KitchenAid, but that is probably why these don't last as long - not to say they can't. When you're on a budget, JennAir is the answer. If this one blows in two or three years, I might be in a better position to buy the $400 KitchenAid I really want. Until then my Jenn-Air gets the job done and I love the way it looks - so stylish!

ShareFlag11/26/2012I was looking for a lint scre...I was looking for a lint screen for my old Maytag dryer (I bought in 1978). Unfortunately the one I bought at Cagle did not fit. So I called other stores, plus Maytag in Ohio. I found out that Maytag does not make a lint screen that fits on my dryer. Ed. and Gary told me to bring the old one. They used special tools and made a lint screen to fit on my dryer!!!!! They were very patient and friendly.
