I don't believe its as good as some, but hamilton beach is definitely the best alternative. this is the best drink mixer in the world. you and make great milkshakes and lot other drinks too. it also comes with a mixing cup. This is a great mixer if you are using soft serve ice cream. If you are using hard ice cream it is useless from day one unless you purchase the other spindle. In my opinion a milkshake mixer should be able to make a shake without having to purchase something else. I believe it is a cost-cutting measure which will not sit well with consumers. Once you purchase the other spindle there are no problems.Handles daily use with ease. Rest assured that the Hamilton Beach mixer will give you years of trouble free use. I had one 25 years that was 25 years old when I bought it. I finally just wore it out. Had to buy a new one. Don`t buy the cheaper ones, you won`t be happy. Works great and is very powerful and quiet. Easy to use and clean. Would reccomend to any one or business thinking about purchasing one.My family loves it.
