A motor went bad in one and Webstaurant was able to get me a new one, under warranty, within a week. Good quality , nsf approved , not much programming and blender knife not sharp enough to mash hard ice , but generally all nsf approved appliances are like this I guess

This blender is very good making milkshakes, frappes and liquefying vegetables and fruits, it is a very good product and also at a cheap price. Great blender, but not quite commercial quality. The 908 used to be made with heavier, sturdier parts. I recently replaced three blenders for daily continual business use. After three months they each slowly started losing power and one I had to *retire* in place of an older *better made* Hamilton Beach 908. The old version was a workhorse that lasted years with the occasional maintenance. Each of our blenders make hundreds , sometimes a thousand drinks a week, so although it makes a great occasional use blender the new version is not quite ready for commercial use. The lesser priced current model makes it less of a hassle to buy a couple times a year. Unfortunately, the quality and guessing game doesn't make it practical for continued use- unless you have a back up or can afford the downtime once reordered. I haven't had this blender for very long so I don't know how time will treat it.

For the price it is a great small back up blender for me. No comparison to its expensive counterparts but it gets the job done fine with a little extra effort. Not too noisy (it's still a blender though) and will produce nicely blended drinks with the right amount of ice and liquid. This blender works great. It chops fresh fruit up very easily and ice to make smoothes. I use it all the time and works the same just like i bought it. I love this blender. I use it at home for my smoothies. Hopefully the motor won't quit on me. It just seems like every other brand has within the week that it was purchased. So far it is working like a champ.
