No matter how big the bowl or slow the speed this thing still finds a way to mess up things. Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser I chose this because it was on sale, and cheaper than the "regular" ones. It has plastic covering to help with not scratching. I am pleased it came with three attachments which all fit in a built-in storage box. No more looking for attachments... even if it is more than "regular" mixer, it is worth it. Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser Probably the worst product I have ever used. I'm surprised there hasn't been a safety recall on them. The switch is positioned so it's very easy to accidentally start it and spray whatever it is your are mixing all over the walls and counter. My wife nearly got her finger caught in the beater today.

The slow speed isn't slow enough. Yes (3) No (0) Report Yes (3) No (0) Verified purchaser Except for the fact that the part that holds the beaters does not fit on the bottom of the mixer, this is all I had hoped it would be. It has the power I wanted and I like the rubber on the beaters much more than I thought I would. I have a professional stand mixer, but needed a new mixer for small quick uses. This has been perfect. Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser I bought this as a gift but I have owned one for 7 years still going strong. It has good power & storage container makes it easy to store on shelf & keep your beater with your mixer Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser it worked good,i like the beater they get everything from the side of the bowl Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser This is awful. the power is too much. on lowest speed it slings dough and batter all over the place..

it made a smell and the dough was stiff but not anything more than I have been using with my old cheapie mixer for 41 years! I love the soft scrape beaters though.
kitchenaid blender ksb5wh3 couplerwish it were a better product and I would order again just for the beaters.

I make a lot of homemade foods for a large family, so need to have appliances that are efficient and can endure frequent use. The lowest setting is a bit strong, but if you want anything lower than what it offers, just mix by hand! With that in mind, I have had to use a mixing bowl slightly deeper than I have had to before. But a small tradeoff for quick work. I also love the clip-on self storage for the various beaters. The coating on the beaters does soften the noise a bit, but it's still loud.

Overall, great product for the price! Yes () No (6) Report Yes () No (6) Verified purchaser Loved it Yes (0) No (0) Report Yes (0) No (0) Verified purchaser This is a poorly designed mixer. Unless you have a VERY deep bowl, at least 7 inches, plan to have your kitchen a mess when you are through. A standard mixing bowl won't do the trick. No way can you make whipped cream with this mixer. It splatters cream all over you, your cabinets, the walls, absolutely everything. It does the same with cake batter. And furthermore, the "snap on storage case" is a joke. It doesn't fit the mixer. How can it be called "snap on" when it is too small for the mixer? I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this mixer. Just what I wanted. No worries about burning up the motor when mixing thicker mixtures. It just moves right through it without resistance. I love the silicone beaters! It means I can mash potatoes in the non-stick pan, and mix batter without scratching my pyrex bowls. This mixer has a lot of power, but as stated in many reviews, the low speed is so powerful that ingredients fly out of the bowl (even using a deep bowl). I've had this mixer for a while and have tried all the tricks to keep this thing from spattering batter/cream/flour, etc. all over the kitchen.
