Way too hard to take apart and put together! This is a whiz 1-2-3. Not as heavy or as well built, but every bit as functional. I would definitely recommend Yes (8) No (0) Report Yes (8) No (0) Verified purchaser My hubby got this for me as a a birthday gift. This was on a list of things I could use in the kitchen. I've been using this for a few month's so I could give it an honest review. It's an awesome kitchen appliance. It's very easy to use, powerful, easy to assemble & disassemble for cleaning. The scraper gadget is a plus and very helpful, it keeps the processed food moving & not bogged down on the side of the bowl.

The feet suction cup themselves to the counter top, and it really does stay put while in use. I make sauces, dips, slice up veggies & grate cheese. I even used it to cut plain yogurt into flour for a flatbread recipe, it took a few seconds to do & I kneaded the dough by hand afterwards. Great appliance, I've been using it 2 - 4 time a week. Makes nut butters, I made cashew and sunflower seed butter with no need to add oil, smooth and delicious. The slicer attachment sliced carrots, kohlrabi, cabbage, onions. and celery like butter. The bowl scraper works great. Excellent product Overall, an excellent product. Yes () No (1) Report Yes () No (1) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser So far, I love this food processor.
kitchenaid ksb5 5-speed blender onyx black/stainless steelEasy to use and works well. I like the fact that there are no ribs in the bowl; thus easy to clean. Can't speak for longevity as I've only had it a couple of weeks. Works great for making pecan butter and all other uses so far. Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser I got a great deal on this from Walmart to replace a piece of junk that died. This unit does a lot of things that my cheapo wouldn't. It has a powerful 450 Watt motor that makes short work of just about anything you throw at it.

My only disappointment is that the fine shredder/crinkle cut top blade was not included. That is a Hamilton Beach boo-boo. I have used the unit several times for grinding dried fruit and cacao nibs into powder for my oatmeal and yogurt. I made my favorite nut butter today, which is a combination of Cashews, Honey, Sea Salt, shredded Coconut, & EV Coconut Oil. The secret to making excellent nut butters is to let the heat from the motor work for you. Run it back & forth between low & high speed for a couple of minutes & let it rest for about ten minutes. Repeat the cycle until you get what you want. This unit didn't break a sweat. Yes () No (7) Report Yes () No (7) Verified purchaser So far it's worked well. The opening isn't as wide to insert items to shred which makes it a little annoying having to cut and cut until it's the proper proportion to start shredding Yes (6) No (0) Report Yes (6) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser I have a granddaughter that's on a feeding tube and I purchased this food processor so her parents could feed her healthy foods instead of processed foods.

Yes (2) No (1) Report Yes (2) No (1) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser I was going to get a much more expensive machine, but in the end I'm glad I got this one. It works perfectly and easily, is easy to wash, looks nice on the counter and isn't louder than other similar kitchen appliances. Yes (2) No (1) Report Yes (2) No (1) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser I had one of these and bought another because I tried another model and didn't like it at all. This has a scraper and a wide chute also ease in the dial for processing but what I really love is, it cleans easily. The blade is so wide and open nothing stick or isn't easily cleaned- no food particles stick or get discolored in the handle because everything is made well with no little holes to fill up with food. This processor has lots of power and shreds mixed everything with lots of room in the bowl.
