It lacked the entire bottom assembly - cutter, ring and screw cap.Thanks to Amazon customer reviews, I bought one Factory Services HA-010 Blender Cutter Assembly, one Bottom Base Screw Cap for Hamilton Beach Blender, and TWO of these o-ring seals. (One is used to provide a seal between the glass jar and the cutter assembly so there are no leaks; the second o-ring is used to raise the cutter assembly up a fraction of an inch inside the screw cap.)No leaks and creating a perfect fit: I can't ask for more than that from an o-ring.
