It will not do the work of a food processor, but it does a good job of blending smoothies. Not good for blending seeds or small dry items. They drop below the blades. Otherwise very good, blends fast and smooth. I've had this blender for almost a year and it does a decent job of blending, but does a mediocre job of crushing ice when making smoothies.

Nice heavy glass container and the pour spout is a nice feature. It is on the smaller side... Works well for smoothies and sauces. I would buy this again. So I was making a protein shake loaded with creatine for my gains and this happens. A huge chunk of glass shot through the side of the blender.
