I just bought another one. This is the best HamiltonBeach makes...I have been having smoothies all the time. The blender has no trouble grinding up frozen :fruit ,yogurt or ice .Great for smoothies, frozen drinks, pureeing, etc. Wife wants to try it for Yorkshire pudding batter. I love the big wide opening and the smooth buttons. It makes cleaning easy. I don't mind that it doesn't have lots of variable speeds and it blends whatever I'm making so well... I couldn't even get an unlumpy banana and milk shake. Total waste of money, I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about.
