I had previously used the other HB model with the plastic blender bottle single piece design Hamilton Beach 51101BA Personal Blender with Travel Lid, Black, and that leaks as well after a few months. My blender finally burned out two days ago after about a year and a half of near daily use. I made smoothies, salsas, all kinds of pasta sauces and soup bases....Easy and easy to clean, I like that it's smaller than a traditional blender. I don't think it's strong enough for frozen fruit though. I always order this everytime I moved in into a new apartment! Always so helpful for quick food Very nice helpful I am so happy with it.
