We mixed away to our heart’s content, bunged the attachments in the dishwasher, et voila, a fabulous sponge greeted us from the oven an hour or so later. The range of bright colours that this mixer comes in makes it a cheerful addition to any worktop and it’s also a great all-rounder, brilliant at whipping, kneading and mixing. Although it’s the heaviest we tried, it’s nice and quiet and, handily, the cable can be retracted into the base for easy storage. This is a heavy mixer but it’s comfortable to hold and you’ll quickly get the knack of releasing the attachments.
It’s equally good at whisking, mixing and kneading and there’s a turbo boost button for when you need a quick boost of power. We liked how easy it is to clean, too. 7.
