Great deal, awesome product!, doesn't blend 100% with seeds, and noisy but great! This was supposed to be a NEW Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor appliance.
hamilton beach 54227 blender wave power plusHowever, it was clearly an OPEN BOX item. I was very disappointed in the Cuisinart Smart power deluxe blender. It does not crush ice very well, and takes to long for any of the functions to work. Would not purchase again. It works ok for now but, the plastic seems very cheap (a problem with many products made in China) and it is quite loud.Just make sure you have enough liquid for blending. Only reason for the 4 stars is because it's a tad bit loud. Blender works like a charm thus far, have not tried the food processer but looking forward to it I ordered this blender as I was really excited to get a new powerful blender and food processor in one. Condition: Newby A Good Starter UnitThis unit is good for an introductory blender/food processor. A Great feature is that the blending container is heavy glass(read longer life). The base is chromed plastic which is in the description, and it is a bit noisy, but all in all it performs well and is better than buying a separate blender and processor. The blending blades have a little problem with leaf spinach , kale and greens but des well with berries. The food processor did ok but has a bit of a problem with harder veggies such as carrots. I will sharpen the blades a bit more and try it again.
