Also, I find it bulky and awkward to assemble. The black blender cuff does not readily screw on the glass pitcher. You have to check and recheck that it seats right. Sometimes, when it looks like the glass is fitted to the cuff correctly, it isn't and it leaks everywhere. The "chrome" housing is plastic which helps with the weight, but feels cheap. So far, I much prefer my old Oster blender.
