Every time I try to use this blender I wish I had bought a different one. After several years of very light use my blender died. From the beginning I had intermittent issues with the electronic buttons on this blender. I don't use a blender very often. When I do it is for things like mixing eggs, milk and flour. I paid $200 originally. After 2-3 uses & less than a year the base quit working. Literally the biggest piece of junk I ever bought. Really does make snow out of ice... This was totally worth every penny. It is clearly well built and the design for how it attaches to the base is excellent. I bought this 4 years ago based upon the Breville name. Since then, I've made perhaps 50 smoothies. I don't use it very often at all. We use it every morning for our smoothie. Amazing quality and still going strong!
