Product scratches pots/pans due to pointed base. I use this blender quite a lot and am very satisfied with it. It is a good quality product, all the accessories work well and do their job. Inspite of being rated at 800W, this hand blender is less efficient and not as powerful as the previous model we owned. It seemed like a great cheap buy - I use a blender every day. After just 5 months, the lid started coming off so all the sauce came spurting out haha. Turned it on turbo blending oil and garlic , motor burnt out within a minute , was fine till then I purchased this to replace my plastic braun stick blender. Nothing wrong with the braun, still going strong, but as I say it was plastic (plastic in hot soup? no thanks!
