I just got this last night and made a smoothie. It really works well on the green vegetables. I can't wait to make a strawberry smoothie for my grandkids. Great machine and made the wife happy. I liked it a lot I purchased this blender 1 year ago mainly to do some savorous smoothie.After hours of research, I chose this particular one for the quality/price rapport. I was surprised by how good this blender was. I have the previous version, which I really like, and really tried hard to find again (but it's now more expensive since they don't... It's a cheap blender. You pay more because than other intro blenders because of the name on it. Our device gave out after 3 months with light use and no longer works. Strong and quiet motor. Only tricky part is the cleaning since the pitcher and blade assembly is fixed together. Would be nice if you could disassemble for easier washing. I am giving this product two stars instead of one for the fact that I really did love this blender.
