Handles any food product I've tried so far.One side note, when 80%+ filled, the center cap for adding items may pop off from the force of the contents swirling up and...I've had this for awhile now and I've not had any issues. It's easy to clean as the blade can be removed. The motor is quite powerful. Outstanding, best blender that I've ever used. Powerful, efficient and simplicity at its best with no gimmicky multi-button operation that you see on a lot of blenders.
