this was a big hit in Africa. lots of attachments that do the job and takes little electricity. when everything is solar energy driven, this is important. Electrical connection was European, not American. Did not fit our plugins. Should have shown that so a person would not purchasse it. This item has the wrong outlet definitely not for America. I didn't realize that and now it's too late for return it. Be careful about this product. Bought this directly from Amazon.de using google translate, a few years back, to replace another Braun blender. Excellent quality and performance. You can fully control its speed. Bought this for my terminally ill mother who needs everything mashed / juiced etc.. We use this machine at least 10 times a day and it is superb! I've been a braun fan for years, but this is below the ususal standard. Doesn't appear as robust as expected,there are some plastic parts that seem very fragile. I have had one of these Braun Multiquick Blenders for over 10 years, and only had to order extra blades for the smallblender as I use this most. This is a kitchen wonder with everything you could need. I thought I wouldn't find it again but was very pleased to find this one which comes with its own adaptor that is neat and...
